In the teacher-education Master’s program in Business Education (M.Ed.), you will learn how to effectively design and manage teaching and learning processes in vocational schools. The program prepares you to actively foster and strengthen the economic thinking and decision-making of your pupils. The combination of Business and Economics, Educational Sciences, and a second subject of your choice also allows you to pursue and deepen your own area of personal interest alongside the business and educational content.

The M.Ed. Business Education is designed as a full-time program over four semesters. The program comprises 120 credit points (CP), distributed across five areas as follows:

  1. Subject Business and its didactics (50 CP)
  2. Second Subject and its didactics (15 CP)
  3. Business and Education (31 CP)
  4. Internship (4 CP)
  5. Master’s Thesis (20 CP)

During the Master’s program in Business Education, students must complete a three-week teaching internship (Advanced Master’s Internship).

Examination Regulations (PDF)
Binding legal framework.
