The demands placed on students and graduates in the job market are changing rapidly. To ensure that graduates have sustainable career prospects, they need a broad range of skills. Students can acquire interdisciplinary additional qualifications through a variety of student initiatives at the University of Mainz. These initiatives offer opportunities to get involved alongside their program of study or to gain practical business experience. Organizational skills, initiative, creativity, and a sense of responsibility can be developed in numerous workshops, in seminars, or in projects with external companies. Through these collaborative activities, many friendships and networks are formed that endure even beyond the students’ time at our university.
